Our Manual Handling Safety Training is specifically designed for your work place. Our instructor will conduct a 30 minute site survey prior to conducting the training course. The instructor then designs the course to tailor your needs, the course content will include:
a) Power Point Safety Presentation. This includes:
1) Health & Safety.
2) Manual Handling Regulations.
3) PUWER & COSHH.
4) Common Causes of Back Injury.
5) The Spine.
6) Manual Handling Solutions.
7) Principles of Safe Lifting.
b) Guidance handouts.
C) Theoretical Test.
1) Question Paper consisting of multiple choice questions.
d) Practcal Test. ( Providing that the candidate meets the safety requirements to undertake this part)
The whole course takes approximately 4 hours to complete, with up to 10 candidates on a course, at the end of this training, the candidates will be able to demonstrate correct safe lifting techniques, and also will have gained job safety knowledge.

At the end of this training, you will receive training records & a Certificate for each candidate for your files.
HSE reminds companies of their legal duties relating to manual handling 07 Feb 08 The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is reminding companies of their legal duties relating to manual handling after an employee was injured when a 50kg sack of basmati rice fell on his neck.
A company in Wolverhampton, on 22nd January 2008, pleaded guilty to failing to take reasonable care for the health and safety of employees under Section 2(1) of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974. The company was fined 25,000 pounds with 28,000 pounds costs.
